Hanna A's Blog

  I've been away in Australia for most of the month, and July 23rd was my very first day back! I had such a fantastic time visiting family and taking in all the sights, but there really is no place like home and nothing beats sleeping in my own bed. Since getting back, I’ve jumped right back into the swing of things at the center. We've made delicious lamingtons in cooking class, enjoyed relaxing sensory sessions with H2O and ribbon dancing to soft music, and even got to watch a drama performance at the old theatre in Tauranga. I enjoyed a relaxing foot spa and performed in a puppet show to my friends.  All in all, it feels so good to be back at the center with all my friends

  I made a yummy fudge slice for our other center. They absolutely loved it, and I was lucky  I went to the flash United Cinema at Bayfair to see a cool movie about Michael Jackson. I loved it so much it had so many good songs! I’ve also been doing some Māori culture activities lately. I’m really enjoying it, especially drawing the patterns, which is so much fun. Also this month, I went over to Bethlehem Baptist Church for an Emergency Preparedness Hui. We discussed how to prepare for natural disasters and got a free backpack at the end with a 2in1 torch & radio.  Later in the month, I treated myself to a foot spa that was so relaxing. I also went to check out the new shops and see what was playing at the movies at Bayfair Shopping Centre. I absolutely love that place, but then again, who doesn't. I also had my IPP meeting with my sister present discussing my goals and plans for the next year. Watch this space!!!

 We went to Greerton to have a coffee and end up stealing the show so good everyone loved my singing my voice sounded so good on the microphone and wow look at my hair 

 Love it when I get my hair done makes me look good and I can go to the club for a dance 

 This looks like I got a rum and coke but it was just coke and I was only there to play pool

 I like to take part in peoples first answering questions and having my say witch we all know I’m good at

 To day it was my responsibility to make the carrot cake for our friends who are leaving and of course you get to taste it as wall so make a bit more for me yummy in my tummy 

This week I went to the movies to see a movie about kangaroos i really enjoyed it it was really long but cool  

So I made so many nice bit of jewellery and I love it  

 It was so fun hunting for the chocolate and look I found it don’t think any one also is going to have any by time I’m finished 

 So much fun at I dance this week at Greerton loved going over there it made me very happy 

 This week I was just in the ,old to pull every thing out and make a mess touch every thing it just happens some times I can’t help it this is why people like me so much cause I’m cheeky

 We have a lot  of fun and laughs when we all play cards together and I feel I’m pretty good at it it’s all in the eyes

 We had time were we got another foot spa and chat with my mates love it

 This sensory was so nice had a foot spa and talked with my friends and watched some soups like home and away one of my favourite shows

  I’m at Tenpin bowling Bay fair getting me a strike in Tenpin.I also got to check out some of the games they have here. In Culture group we learnt about the Didgeridoo and also got to design and make my own one.

 Look at me how amazing I am at making things I love at the moment making my own jewellery so cool and I get to take it home how sweet

 Look at me I wanted to help out more around the centre so I was allowed to clean the table and all the bench two I’m amazing

 It is so nice to be back I really missed being active and being busy throughout the day look out 2026
